The pool is an element that "embellisches"
a property both to the esthetical point of view and to the
property point of view.
In fact it increases considerably the market value of the
soil and of the relative living unit only if it is realized
following the best technical criteria of construction and
installation of the establishement. The
pool is principaly a construction fixed in the soil. it is
the result of final technical choices. The pools differ
according to kind of the structure and to the kind of the
adopted installation. As for the structure, the pools can be
realized completely by reinforced concrete or mixed
structure that is to say by the slab in reinforced concrete
put in the bottom but with the sides realized with
prefabricated panels of zinc-coated
steel. The main systems of air recirculation device and
filtering plant are two: the skimmer installation and the
overflow on the edges.
Choosing the skimmer installation,
the overflowing water takes place by the same skimmer, that
is to say by one or more small doors equipped with floatings,
so that the overflowing is adepted to the water level.
Usually the difference betwen the floor level and the water
level is about fifteen centimetre. By the overflowing
installation, the overflows water in the perimetric spillway
covered by a greating than it is piped to the compensation
pool. This system is better both to the esthetical hygienic
and funtional point of view.
In the pool to air recirculation device the water superface
seems wider than a skimmer pool of the same dimensions this
happens by the optical effect caused by the equal level
between the water and the edge of the pool. The advantage of
the overflowing pool is that the swim meets with less
resistence than the skimmer pool. This happens
because the reflow of the wave caused by the water shock
against the pool sides ceases.
However, both the air recirculation device systems
guarantee the best execution of those phases that assure
costantly adequate higenic-sanitary water conditions. In
